It's officially leagues Reveal Season - let's get demonic!

To make the wait a little more bearable before Leagues VI: Demonic Pacts launches on April 15th, we'll be dropping a surprise reveal about the league every day until just before launch and gathering them all here in one handy newspost!

Overview

Yama's Lair

The way you begin this league will be unlike anything else you've seen so far as Yama's created a unique version of his domain where you will spawn upon your arrival and as you go through the leagues Tutorial. After that you'll have free reign to explore this new lair which features lots of demons running around making sure everything's in check for the league to commence!

One very nice thing Yama has done for you this league is allowed you to use the stepping stones in the lava pool to train your Agility from level 1. Be careful though as this agility course is slightly different and you're likely to get burnt if you mess up. You'll also be able to come back to the lair at any time if you use your home teleport in the spellbook.

Passive Effects

Tier 1:

All experience is multiplied by 5x
Items from eligible sources will be 2x as common
Farming ticks will occur every minute instead of every five minutes
Minigame points received are boosted by 4x
Run energy is never drained whilst running
All Clue scrolls will drop as stackable scroll boxes, and clue-step progress is saved between clues

Tier 2:

XP multiplier increase from 5x to 8x

Tier 3:

Combat skills (including Hitpoints & Prayer) have 1.5x Multiplier (Multiplicative with other modifiers)
The 'Bigger and badder' slayer unlock is unlocked for free
Slayer points are 5x from tasks and you aren't required to complete 5 tasks before earning points
Slayer Superior rates are increased to a 1/50 chance to appear

Tier 4:

Items from eligible sources will be 5x as common
Minigame points received are boosted by 8x

Tier 5:

XP multiplier increase from 8x to 12x

Tier 6:

None

Tier 7:

XP multiplier increase from 12x to 16x

Tier 8:

None

Demonic Pacts

It's time for you to sign over more than just your soul this league as we've taken the previous Combat Masteries system and cranked it up to 666!

Our new system gives you way more flexibility with what combat styles you want to specialise in as the Demonic Pacts form a skill tree, something we're trying for the very first time!

Completing certain combat-related tasks will bag you Pact Points which you can spend at your leisure on any available pacts (any pacts connected to pacts previously unlocked). You'll have a total of 40 points to use, and we have a handy new filter to show you exactly what tasks will gift you with these points!

BE WARNED: while you will have three full tree resets, that's your lot! Take down your first three unique Echo Bosses and earn yourselves those sweet, sweet resets.

As a bonus, our friends over at the OSRS Wiki have made a wonderful Demonic Pacts Calculator, so you can see exactly what you can unlock and give you a chance to properly experiment before April 15th!

Echo Bosses & Echo Rewards

Echo Bosses are back and they want their revenge! Taking out contracts with Yama has infused them in a devilish new look and they are eager to see you take them on. Of course, you'll need to fight the original version of the bosses to acquire their respective Echo Orbs to unlock this demonic variant.

While the bosses this time around are mostly the same as before, we've reworked the rewards to really lean into the Demonic Pacts and work with different elements of the system!

Point Cap Advice

To help those aiming to earn the most amount of points this league, we thought we'd shed some light on some key information you should know!

For starters, all regions will give the same amount of points to allow for a bit more flexibilty and let you decide on the content you enjoy most while you blaze through your task list.

Secondly, there are a few caveats you'll want to keep in mind when planning which regions you do choose to get the maximum amount of points:

You will want at least one raid to get all 3 mega rares
You will need to be able to fill 750 Collection Log slots
You will need to be able to complete 10 different bosses Combat Achievements
You will need to be able to complete 30 CA Speed Tasks
You will need to be able to complete 250 CA tasks total
You will need to reach the Elite tier of the Combat Achievements
Additionally, you'll need to be able to get to 50M XP in each skill

As long as your regions meet the above criteria you should be able to reach the point cap. Any league or diary tasks which an area has which are deemed incompleteable through an oversight will be autocompleted at some point after launch to keep a level of fairness across those competing.

Finally, just to give you a little extra, there's 4 new XP tasks which you might want to keep in mind when choosing your relics:

Obtain 100 million experience in a skill excluding Attack, Strength, Defence, Magic, Ranged & Hitpoints
Obtain 100 million experience in either Attack, Strength, Defence, Magic, Ranged, Hitpoints or Prayer
Obtain 200 million experience in any non-combat skill
Obtain 200 million experience in either Attack, Strength, Defence, Magic, Ranged, Hitpoints or Prayer
