Welcome, welcome, welcome you poor unfortunate souls! It seems like you've shown some gumption by wanting to take on Death's challenge!

While Death doesn't share your confidence, fortunately for you they want to celebrate your impending doom! Please give a formal welcome to the Reaper's Raffle!

Overview

This tombola-esque addition will run between November 4th - November 30th and give you an opportunity to grab some sweet, sweet loot IRL, while you come to terms with your new Groundhog Day.

But what do you need to do? Death's produced a roster of different Bounty Boards that range from PvM, Skilling and even The Wilderness, that offer tasks for you to complete exclusively on Hardcore Worlds. Completing a task will bag you an entry, which gives you a spot in our upcoming raffle! You'll even bag your first entry by simply hopping on during our first month!

Tasks & Tracking

Within this newspost you'll be able to view all of the tasks Death has laid out for you to try and achieve during your time in Hardcore Worlds.

While Death is punishing, they have graciously agreed that these tasks and entries will carry over between deaths. Meaning if you die halfway through this event all your hard work doesn't go to waste and you can carry on towards other tasks as you rebuild!

While there is no in-game interface to see these tasks, rest assured the team will be tracking every task on this page, behind-the-scenes, to properly validate all of your completed tasks and your earned entries.

We've provided you a couple of handy features to make tracking your progress in this newspost a little smoother:

  • A breakdown of your progress overall and per board

  • The ability to pin up to 50 tasks to track

  • Filters, sorting and searching for specific task and task types

  • Eligiblity of Prizes based on your completed tasks

  • Persitant saving of your completed, pinned and hidden tasks alongside filters you've applied (but only on the same device)

Prizes

Death's also giving us the go ahead to include over 100 prizes for you to potentially get your hands on including:

  • Official OSRS Merch

  • A custom Death statue

  • A Starforge PC bundle & other Starforge goodies

  • Creator Crafted items

  • Sets from OSRSBricks

  • And much more...

But that's not all as not only will we have some funkiness planned for those that achieve any World Firsts but there's also the opportunity for you to add even more prizes to the raffle by completing World Goals!

These goals need you to all work together to complete a collective task such as 250,000 quests completed, slaying 500,000 bosses or earning 100,000,000 XP collectively. You won't need to do anything extra to participate in these, simply just play!

Reaper's Raffle Livestream

This will culminate in a spectacle livestream on December 8th, where we'll be joined by the glory that is Death themself and some other guests to draw your prizes, check out your achievements and hit the in memoriam for those who continually perished.

Any prize winner will receive a message ONLY via the in-game messaging system to confirm your goodies. We'll look to ship all of the prizes at the beginning of 2027.

The aim is to update this newspost everyday with the current World Goal progress and if any World Firsts have been achieved!

Prizes

Here's the roster of prizes you have a chance to grab during the Reaper's Raffle.

We've got a bunch of different prizes from Official Merch Store items, products from our amazing partners and even some handmade special goodies commissioned by Death themselves!

Some prizes are still being produced and we'll look to update those images with previews once they are ready.

World Goals

To continue the festering festivities Death's also offered you a roster of collective challenges that will look to see you work as one cohesive group.

These will last for the same period as the Reaper's Raffle as upon completion of a World Goal you'll add a new prize to the raffle. These are mostly Cash Prizes but we've also got a second Starforge OSRS PC Bundle (Pro) in there too.

Will you set aside personal glory for the chance to contribute to the community, we'll see...

World Firsts

Additionally, there are a number of World Firsts ready for you to claim. Some will be celebrated in-game, but Jagex are awarding prizes to a whole host more, and will even be memorialising them at Jagex HQ.

We'll share the full list of World Firsts on Wednesday, just before the worlds go live.
